Worried that your brakes aren't up-to-snuff? Pay attention to the following signs that may indicate that you need to get your vehicle in for a brake inspection, immediately:
- Loud Grinding Noises- Those noises that your car makes upon stopping aren't just alarming, they can be downright dangerous. More times than not, this metal on metal sound is an indication of your brake rotors coming in to contact with the calipers. Long story short, get your vehicle to the shop!
- A Shaky Halt- Ever put your foot to the brake and notice that your vehicle begins to shake and rumble? It isn't uncommon, but it is a cause for concern. Rather than ignore it, have your trusted local mechanic take a peek.
- Pulling Either Direction- A severe pull to the right or left can be an indicator of many things, but if it occurs while braking, look out. You'll want to get your brakes inspected if you notice this happening, as it could be an indication of warped rotors or something else.
